24 Chicago area students share their setups for remote learning

The first day of school is always a big day for teachers, parents and students. This year, learning will look a little different as many school districts across the country and in the Chicago area have pivoted to remote learning.

So how are students getting ready for school this year? What do their setups looks like? As we did with our call for teacher setups, we asked parents around Illinois to send us photos of their children’s remote-learning work stations.

Some students are learning at stylized desks, complete with photos, pens and other supplies, while others are stationed at dining room tables or living rooms.

If you are an Illinois student learning remotely this year and want to show us your setup, send a photo with your name, grade and your school’s name to hgreenspan@chicagotribune.com, and we’ll add you to this list.
